I grew up in a small town in Iowa, lived in a couple of the best cities in the world – Chicago and London – and have called the Triangle area home since 2008. I will likely never give up my Chicago area code, but I am truly thankful to be able to live and to raise my kids in Apex. I think we have a wonderful mix of small town and big city right here in the heart of North Carolina.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s in Health Promotion and I think I’ve pieced together a great mix of career, volunteer and life experiences. I managed a corporate health facility in a high rise in Chicago and I coordinated all aspects of the logistics for 3-day walks for breast cancer and week-long charity bicycle rides. I spent a decade as a stay at home mom and during that time, started a support group and spent five years as chairperson of a local fundraising walk for a cause that is near and dear to my heart.
I’ve got two awesome sons, Alex and Samuel, who love sports, summer camp, horses, reading and having all the neighborhood boys hang out at our house. We’ve got a super cute, 3-pound Yorkie named Charlie whose entire body shakes when he wags his tail. I’m lucky enough to have my parents nearby and happy that my boys get to make memories with their grandparents on a regular basis, just as I did when I was a kid. I am a lifelong die hard Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan and I love rooting for my Iowa college teams as well as Tar Heel basketball. When I’m not working, attending the boys sporting events or volunteering at their schools, you might find me riding my bike or at the gym with friends.
I believe your home is the backdrop for some of life’s best memories and experiences, and I enjoy helping my clients find homes that they love. I strive to provide excellent service, to go the extra mile for my clients and to always do my work with honesty and integrity. Buying a home should be a great experience and I will work tirelessly to make sure your experience is just that.
