For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in Real Estate and design. As my kids got older, I was looking for something to transition into from my career in the wellness industry. My husband convinced me that I would make an excellent Realtor, so at age 43 I decided to start a whole new career! As a massage therapist, I had spent my entire career providing detailed customer service in a high end environment where relationships and trust are key. Buying and selling homes can be an extremely stressful time for people, both emotionally and financially. Providing the highest level of service to people buying and selling their homes, whether it’s their first home or dream home, has become my passion.
I am originally from Northern Virginia, spending my summers in Bethany Beach, Delaware. After graduating from West Virginia University with a degree in Anthropology, I studied massage therapy because I had an interest in the healing arts and a deep desire to help and nurture people. I moved to Baltimore upon completing my studies and met my husband Bryan there. I moved to the Raleigh area in 1999 as a newlywed. Things sure have changed since then!
I live in historic Downtown Apex with my husband, our two sons (though my firstborn is just down the road at NCSU), our two cats and our big slobbery dog, T-bone. My favorite times are spent hanging with my boys, entertaining friends, camping, and playing on the beach. I am a huge advocate for not acting your age! I keep myself young at heart by rollerskating, beach cartwheels, going to concerts right up against the stage, and listening to music much too loudly. I am even learning to surf for my upcoming 50th birthday! I am passionate about my little town, supporting small local businesses, Pit Bull advocacy, childhood cancer education/fundraising, and skating.
One of my favorite things about the Triangle area is the sense of community. I truly think that because so many of us came from somewhere else, we rely on our friends and neighbors for things you take for granted if you have family close by, which creates an unusually tight bond. I think the people of the Triangle are truly the greatest, most open-hearted people you will find. If you are relocating to the area, you have hit the jackpot! Life is easy here. If you are local and looking for a new home that fits your current lifestyle, I would love to help!
